celebrate.

We've had so much to celebrate on the adoption front lately so Dave and I decided to do just that.  We went to a restaurant called Ethiopian Diamond near our house to celebrate the mini.  I have to be honest, I've never been to an Ethiopian Restaurant in the US.  My only experience with Ethiopian food is in the Ethiopia itself.  I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.  It is absolutely delicious.  I didn't mind the food in Ethiopia, but I can actually say that I like American Ethiopian.  The environment of the place was really great too.  There was Ethiopian music playing and all Ethiopians working at the restaurant.  It will be fun to take the mini there soon!

Ethiopian Diamond (one of many Ethiopian restaurants in the city).  I'm excited to try others too.

My first time to have Ethiopian tea.  I'm so addicted to Macchiatos when I'm in Ethiopia that I didn't even know they had tea!  I highly recommend the tea.

 Dave with the food.

There we are.

It was a great time talking about the mini and all the fun that's still to come.  We did receive more exciting news today.  Our case has been submitted to court which hopefully means we beat some of the rush from the courts being closed and will be assigned an earlier court date.  We're hoping for early November date but you never know.  Even if we didn't beat any rush it's progress which makes my day!
